Merry Christmas

Another year past us already. On the first of this month, a fellow Toastmaster pointed out that it was the first day of the last month of the last year of the first decade of the 21st century. Very interesting, eh?

This year I get to spend Christmas with family for the first time in years. I am so not a grinch this year! I am not so happy that winter is here though. Being in Arkansas for a fourth winter is not my idea of fun. I did get finally get the hang of how to winterize everything, which clothes work best, what to keep in the car, and driving in snow. Being from the South doesn't make handling winter second nature.

The summers here; however, are Heaven compared to the South. It amazes me that you can be comfortable sitting by the lake in August. Not that I do :O), but you could even go without air conditioning for most of the summer if you wanted to go for it.

Well, anyway, Happy Birthday Jesus. It's my privilege to know You.
